Adding {{ product.description }} to search results

Hi there,

I am setting this up for a client and it works a treat -- we love it: http://reportfinder.myshopify.com/

However, we would like to take out the vendor and add in the shop description. Our descriptions are very short so no filtering necessary--is this possible?

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm going to be updating the search results so that you can use a liquid template for the result list. This will give you full control over the formatting and placement. I'm shooting for the next few weeks.

Can appearance (CSS) be altered through the liquid template? How can one change appearance of the results?

Hi Alex - you can change the appearance by including your own searchify css rules. Download your existing searchify-1.0.css stylesheet, then upload it to your assets area and include it in your theme.
